HIGHLIGHTS
- What: This study investigated the potential therapeutic effects of the commercially available treatment both alone and in combination with Albendazole (ALB) on the intestinal and muscular stages of Trichinella spiralis infection in mice assessing outcomes through parasitological immunological and histopathological measures. The study showed that there has been a reduction in the inflammatory response in the intestinal and muscle stage of the experiment in all treated groups.
