Effects of evaluation on employees` performance in isiolo county government

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The general objective of the study was to investigate the relationship between MBO and employee performance within Isiolo County Government. Interestingly, the study discovered that when managers used the assessment process to identify and rectify skill shortages, employee motivation improved. The study indicated that effective MBO incorporates objective criteria and that, at times, MBO can be beneficial in evaluating changes in the performance of employees engaged in fairly routine work. In the research, descriptive design was utilized.
