    The C-index of the model containing both SOFA trajectory class was 0.628 (0.616-0.640), which was considerably higher than that of the model containing SOFA alone and the model containing both SOFA and initial SI. Cox analysis revealed that compared with the patients in class 1, the patients in classes 4, 5, 6, and 7 had an increased risk of in-hospital death.
