Effects of uv/cl2 and uv/pds advanced oxidation on chemical characteristics of typical organic matter in reclaimed water

  • What: In this research humic acid was selected as a typical organic substance in reclaimed water and the effects of higher oxidation of UV/Cl 2 and UV/PDS on its chemical composition including aromaticity molecular weight and fluorescence characteristics were investigated. The light intensity of UV used in this experiment (0.623 mJ/cm2) was first measured by iodometric method (KI/KIO3), and the irradiation dose of different UV was determined according to the time of UV irradiation as a means of investigating the effects of different pH time doses on the properties of UVA254, molecular . . .
