- who: Ramaraj Sathasivam and collaborators from the Andong, India have published the research work: Effects of various Agrobacterium rhizogenes strains on hairy root induction and analyses of primary and secondary metabolites in Ocimum basilicum, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: As a novel study, this work was aimed to induce HRs in O. basilicum by different strains of A. rhizogenes for metabolomics profiling of primary and secondary metabolites of pharmacological importance. This supports the results of the study , which showed that the lowest rosmarinic acid content was obtained in the ATCC 15834 infected strain.
