HIGHLIGHTS
- who: Esther T. Stoeckli from the Department of Molecular Life Sciences and Neuroscience Center Zurich, University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland have published the research: Endoglycan Regulates Purkinje Cell Migration by Balancing Cell-Cell Adhesion, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The studies demonstrated that during axon guidance, Endoglycan could either be provided by the growth cone or by the floor plate, but it was necessary to lower the adhesion between the migrating growth cone and the floor-plate cells during midline crossing (Baeriswyl et_al, 2021). The authors focused on the analysis of Purkinje cells.
