- what: The authors show here that ZNC alleviates heat stress-induced reproductive defect and promote fruit yield in tomato, presenting excellent potential in agricultural applications. The authors showed that short-term heat stress-induced pollen growth defects and long-term heat stress-induced pollen developmental defects were both alleviated by ZNC pretreatment.
