- What: This approach has proven to significantly __NEWPAGE__enhance yard scheduling efficiency and performance as confirmed by experimental validation. Motivated by the above observations, in this paper, a two-stage rollout genetic programming approach is proposed for online YC scheduling. This approach showed inferior performance on larger instances compared to a simple priority rule. The authors aim to efficiently schedule YCs in the export block to minimize the total weighted tardiness of IR tasks and the total waiting time of ES tasks, considering the deterministic IR tasks and the uncertain arrival of ES tasks.
