- what: The authors examine the potential role of changes in MurAA during DAP exposure using a combination of X-ray crystallography, biochemistry and microscopy approaches. The studies showed that the MurAAA149E-MurG complex was ~16-fold stronger than that formed with the wild-type enzyme.
