Executive functions in children with developmental language disorder: a systematic review and meta-analysis

• What: To ensure comparability of data, in this study, verbal inhibition was analyzed according to the measurement of accuracy; nonverbal inhibition was analyzed according to the measurement of accuracy, reaction time, and error numbers, respectively. Four studies reported Spatial Span (SS) task, and the meta-analysis was completed with a random-effects model (I2=77.7%), showing that children in the TD group significantly outperformed children in the DLD group (SMD=-0.6787, 95%CI: -1.0812 to -0.2762) (Supplementary Table S3).
