• What: In this respect, the purpose of this research is to propose the inclusion of honorific forms as a type of explicitation through Chinese-Korean translations of the Diamond Sutra. This research is intended to investigate limited translation phenomena, such as honorific expressions that occur in the process of transferring messages explicitly. Research methods and data To achieve the purpose of this research, the authors use a literature review and a descriptive approach. The authors examine this in detail through the relations of explicitation and honorifics in the next section.
