Exploring online chinese-english bilingual content and language integrated learning classrooms through moment analysis

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study examines the practices of Chinese-English bilingual Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) classrooms in an online environment. In response to the research gap, this study aims to investigate explore how Chinese-English bilingual teachers and students deploy their language repertoires through translanguaging praxis in the online CLIL contexts. The aim of this moment action is two folds. Moment analysis concludes that the main purpose is to deploy students` mother tongue to draw attention and to ensure that the important arrangements of the class is informed to every student.
