SUMMARY
History of Recent Crises in Haiti Over the last several decades, Haiti has experienced countless crises. While this research examined Haiti through the lens of crisis, few have examined the impact of these crises on mental health and psychological well-being of youth in the country. When asked which crisis had a more significant impact on mental health in Haiti, 21 students said peyi lòk whereas 16 students said the COVID-19 pandemic, with 1 student undecided.
