SUMMARY
Double cropping in the southern region of the United_States is an agronomic practice that has potential to improve efficiency of land use and provide a continuous soil cover to prevent soil erosion and nutrient loss due to wind, leaching and surface run off. For fwheat, regression analyses were carried out to explore relationships between grain yields and planting dates as influenced by N application rate.
