• What: The authors explore the functional applications of these EPS in biofilm inhibition immunomodulation and as innovative drug delivery systems highlighting their role in enhancing antibiotic efficacy and mitigating resistance. Through quantitative analysis and mathematical modeling including rheological studies and kinetic modeling of biodegradation this work assesses the EPS`s biocompatibility and biodegradability essential for their safe use in biomedicine. The future of biomedicine may well be shaped by these natural polymers, derived from the depths of the oceans , as the authors explore their full potential in improving human health and wellbeing.
