According to a recent study on 129 120 people who were tested for COVID-19 between January and May 2020 (including 7261 people with disabilities), the odds for a positive test result was 1.36 times higher and the risk for poor clinical outcomes due to COVID-19 was 1.43 times higher among people with disabilities as compared to the non-disabled population.
