Many factors are suspected of having a poor prognosis on the return to work or job retention, including activity limitations. Roe et_al highlighted the issues of common activity limitation at work, and of leisure and at home activities for people with shoulder pain. Heavy work is associated with pain, functional limitations, and work limitations, and even more for older workers.
