- What: This study examined parent-teacher agreement in reporting hyperactivity/ inattention and its relationship with child`s parent`s and family`s characteristics. This study has found several factors that predict discrepancy which were partly consistent with previous research. The authors explored how the factors discussed above were associated with parentteacher agreement/disagreement in ADHD screening. This study proposes a categorical variable set for informant patterns. using the SDQ band category system , the "borderline " and "abnormal " were regrouped in one group ("at risk"), which is consistent with previous approaches , and formed a 2x2 matrix of parent-teacher . . .
