HIGHLIGHTS
- who: Ayad Subhy and Davide Lo Presti from the Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre, University of Nottingham, University Park have published the article: Fatigue and Healing Properties of Low Environmental Impact Rubberized Bitumen for Asphalt Pavement, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: In this study, the following healing index based on evaluating the PV of binders with and without the 10 s RP is proposed to evaluate the healing capability.
- how: The results showed that the analysed rubberised bitumens show having better fatigue and healing performance when compared to the straight-run bitumen.
