Fault diagnosis of photovoltaic array based on gated residual network with multi-head self attention mechanism

  • What: By combining these strengths, this approach aims to outperform existing methods in accurately diagnosing faults within PV arrays. For instance, the approach proposed focused on identical 822 fault cases considered in this study, excluding degradation, and employed the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. Adaboost, as proposed, targeted line-to-line faults, open circuits, and degradation, while the approach focused on line-to-line and partial shading faults using the residual gated recurrent unit (ResGRU).
