HIGHLIGHTS
- who: ufeffJingufeff ufeffChenufeff and collaborators from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, China have published the research: Feature extraction based on microstate sequences for EEG-based emotion recognition, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The authors propose a feature extraction method at fine and coarse levels for emotion recognition based on EEG-MS (as Figure 1). The authors explore the similarity between microstate sequences based on D2 statistic. During the experiment, 40 music videos (1 min) are used as the stimulus to elicit emotions for each subject. The authors evaluate the prediction accuracy on the DEAP dataset.
