SUMMARY
Trillions of different microorganisms, bacteria, archaea, phages, and protozoa compose the gut microbiota. Given the complexity and multifactorial activities in terms of the evolution of the human intestinal microbiota, it is difficult to establish the composition of an ideal and healthy microbiota.
