- who: August and collaborators from the United Kingdom University of Melbourne, Australia have published the Article: Fine-scale genetic structure and wolbachia infection of aedes (Diptera: Culicidae) in Nanjing city, China, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: Ae. albopictus is also the dominant mosquito in this city, and human-aided transmission is the main reason for its diffusion in natural conditions (Zhou et_al, 1998b). In the present study, a total of 17 Ae. albopictus habitats, distributed in either urban or rural areas, were investigated within the Nanjing region from July to September.
