  • what: In the present study, thirty five isolates were studied according to their colonies color, shape and grams staining reaction. In this study the bacterium Xac pv. citri isolates identified biochemically, gave positive results for starch hydrolysis, catalase test, indole test and gelatine liquefaction, but showed negative result in oxidase test . In the study canker infected leaves samples from Iraq were collected and Xac was isolated and purified.
