    In fact, contrary to many of the countries studied, seafood and fish intake increased in Spain, according to a Spanish study that revealed data on fish consumption. To date, the authors have not found any published study focused on the possible effect of the COVID lockdown on fish purchasing habits in Spain, using objective data, such as those generated from loyalty cards, nor analyzing the potential sift of in-person to online purchases, which may have influenced purchase elections.
