• What: The authors build on previous work in which the structure of the mean and fluctuation components of the R-S were identified using proper orthogonal decomposition (POD)-based methods (Nikolaidis et_al 2023). The induced δU in RNL100 are similar; for example, in figure 17 the authors show the induced δU by the kx /α=2 fluctuations in the low-speed streak in the lower half of the channel of RNL100 and the δU in the spanwise uniform flow in the upper half of the channel.
