- who: Mihaela Simionescu from the Institute for Economic Forecasting of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest, Romania have published the research work: Forecasting National and Regional Youth Unemployment in Spain Using Google Trends, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: Starting from these previous achievements from literature, the study proposes few novel directions of research. Third, if most of the previous studies employ monthly data, the authors focused on quarterly youth unemployment rate which are more recommended to be used in designing short-run and medium economic and social policies to enhance transition from school to work.
