- who: Kathleen Engebretson from the Law School Catholic University have published the research work: Foundational Issues in Educating Young People for Understanding and Appreciation of the Religions in Their Communities, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The analysis that follows focuses on such key issues, these being terminology, religious superiority, fundamentalism, religions and history, students` beliefs, and critical reasoning. The main reason for this is that there is evidence to show that adherence to fundamentalist Christian groups is growing in Australia (the homeland of the author) especially among young people (Bellamy and amp; Castle, 2004).
