- what: The authors showed that IL1u03b2 could increase apoptosis in chondrocytes while the apoptosis of chondrocytes decreased after coincubation with OI.
- how: These results indicated that OI protected chondrocytes from IL-1u03b2-induced apoptosis. Showed that the gel-dissolving activity of MMP3 and MMP13 was inhibited by OI and OI antagonised the increase . . .
