Framing in media and communication studies: a bibliometric analysis

  • What: Using VOSviewer this study analyzes co-occurrence networks and thematic clusters to map the evolving landscape of framing research. By systematically collecting and analyzing relevant publications, this study seeks to address several key questions: What are the prevailing trends in framing research over time? The analysis focused on the number of publications per year, coauthorship networks, institutional and country collaborations, co-occurring keywords, document co-citation networks, and author and journal co-citation networks. More non-Western examples can be included because it will broaden the global scope of the research, showcasing the diversity in framing . . .
