- What: In this research study, the authors analyzed a friction surfaces containing with friction test oil still present using were analyzed using NEXAFS. In Campen et_al`s data, strong nonlinearity was observed in elaidic acid, which formsed a straightchain structure, whereas but the data from the present experiment showed exhibited stronger exponential characteristics. Since tThe non-Newtonian properties were the same under all three conditions, the main reason was the decrease in the shear rate due to the increase in the effective layer Ac thickness.
