• future: The myofibrils were highly oriented along the longitudinal direction of the cardiomyocytes in the cardiac tissue model (Fig 2f) while in the monoculture they oriented in multiple directions (Fig 2c).

SUMMARY

Already one day after the seeding, the shape of the cardiomyocytes was elongated in the cardiac tissue model, resembling their phenotype in cardiac tissues . . .
