• what: To test the impact of these somatic mutations on AR enhancer activity, the authors focused on those metastatic SNVs that occur in inducible enhancers which looped to the TSS of AR-upregulated genes. While these mutations occur in protein coding regions, the study demonstrates that somatic mutations in AR enhancer can also reduce ZBTB16 expression.
