HIGHLIGHTS

• What: Regarding the use of LCLs, despite the immortalized nature of this cell culture model, the main aim of this study was to compare data obtained from this biological sample with brain tissue data and evaluate the former as a plausible biological model for 12 of 19 the study of neurodegenerative diseases. The authors provide evidence supporting the usefulness of LCLs in neurodegenerative diseases research.
