    Receptor-like protein_kinases (RLKs) serve as receptors for signaling transduction pathways that regulate many biological process (Clark et_al, 1997; Li, 2010; Xun et_al, 2020; Lu et_al, 2021). There are 200-300 LRR-RLKs in Arabidopsis, tomato, rice, potato, and maize, respectively (Song et_al, 2015; Wei et_al, 2015; Bettembourg et_al, 2017; Sun J. et_al, 2017; Li et_al, 2018). LRR-RLKs usually contain an extracellular, tandemly organized LRR domain (20-30 amino_acid residues), a single-pass transmembrane domain, and functional protein kinase domain (Mishra et_al, 2021).
