• What: In this review the authors systematically analyzed the genetic of NDV genotypes in Africa using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. This systematic review specifically omitted investigations conducted beyond the confines of Africa or studies failing to document NDV genotypes within the African territory. The primary reasons for exclusion were publications reporting data from countries outside the scope of this review, papers lacking genotype identification, and review articles.
