• What: As the authors assess emerging challenges posed by genomics to insurance, and specifically in the regulatory context of the United Kingdom, the authors consider challenges both to the process of underwriting (‘how much risk is attributable to a particular person?`), to these wider considerations that may give rise to departures from actuarial fairness in offers of insurance, and finally to the operation of the insurance market itself.
