HIGHLIGHTS
- What: This work shows the capability of data to improve especially in those places where field work is difficult. The aim of this study is to clarify the geological framework of the Argentine Frontal Cordillera at ~30°30` S through remote sensing. The authors aim at differentiating units within the Permian-Triassic and Cenozoic record, formed predominantly by intermediate to acid volcanic rocks and subordinate sedimentary deposits.
