Ggt5: a potential immunotherapy response inhibitor in gastric cancer by modulating gsh metabolism and sustaining memory cd8+ t cell infiltration

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: Univariate Cox regression analysis was conducted to determine the prognostic effect . In this study, the relationship between GGT5 and immune genes of GC was investigated, revealing a positive relation between GGT5 and immuneactive genes and chemokine receptors, particularly CXCL12, CXCR4, and TGFB1. The authors evaluated the involvement of GSH metabolism in T_cells and subsequently identified characteristic T_cell subsets. This study shows that GGT5 serves as an active gene of GSH metabolism and promotes progression, drug resistance, and immune microenvironmental remodeling in gastric cancer.
  • Who: Wenjing Zhao from the Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University . . .
