Globalisation and income inequality

  • What: This study explores the relationship between globalization and income inequality. By examining data from various countries the authors investigate how globalization which involves increased cross-border interactions in trade and investment impacts the differences in income levels among individuals. The study showed how one measures income inequality affects the results. The article shows that when foreign investment increases, it can make income differences bigger, but when one considers other factors, this effect needs to be clarified.
