Hematological ratios as an indicator of severity in alopecia areata: a retrospective nationwide study

  • What: The authors aimed to evaluate and contrast NLR, PLR, ELR, ENR, and EMR ratios across patients with AA and controls, and patients diagnosed with severe versus non-severe AA, within a larger cohort. This investigation seeks to enhance the understanding of the clinical significance of these ratios in the assessment, prognosis, and/or management of AA. The study provides valuable new clinical insights into the management and severity of AA.
