- what: The aim of this study was to analyze the impact of perioperative severe hemodynamic instability. This study showed that severe hemodynamic instability during surgery for pheochromocytoma was a frequent event, with almost all patients being exposed to hypotensive episodes for a relevant time, while hypertensive episodes occurred less frequently in only one-third of the patients.
