- what: The authors aimed to identify ethnic differences in the prevalence rates and early predictors for actionable H u00ad bA1c (defined as prediabetes and diabetes) short time after GDM. The study showed that prediabetes was highly prevalent and more so among South Asian than Nordic women. The study had limited power to detect ethnic difference in the prevalence of diabetes.
