- what: The authors investigated the effect of trehalose on fibroblasts mixed in type 1 collagen gel and tested whether it could affect LSE construction. In Fig 5a and Videos 1-3 the authors demonstrate that trehalose inhibited the population growth of monolayer fibroblast cells.
