SUMMARY
This article examines the caring experiences of GPs in dealing with IPV from a care-ethical approach. Responses concerning the applied caring practices and difficulties were submitted to a thematic analysis, using Joan Tronto`s elements of an ethics of care as an analytical tool (Brannelly, 2006; 2015).The first section discusses the specific value of an ethics of care approach in relation to IPV.
