SUMMARY
Te objective of this study was to exploit heterosis and estimate the heritability of the main quantitative traits controlling fruit yield in tomato interspecifc hybrids in humid ecology to assess adaptability and identify genotype (s) that could be good substitutes for the already existing unproductive ones to meet global fruit demand.
