SUMMARY
Alzheimer`s disease (AD) is a neuro-degenerative disorder most prevalent in people over 65 years (Lashuel et_al, 2002; Prince et_al, 2013). Pathologically, senescent cells accumulate in aged tissues and have been shown to play causal roles in age-related diseases, including AD (Guerrero et_al, 2021). Studies reported that during the development of AD, both post-mitotic cells and proliferating cells can produce a chronic state of cellular senescence. Abating senescent cells is considered a promising therapeutic approach to target the aging phenotype and thereby prevent or mitigate the onset and progression of AD . . .
