Identification of small molecules as novel anti-adipogenic compounds based on connectivity map

SUMMARY

CMap is a library of over 1.5M gene_expression profiles of about 5000 small_molecules and 3000 genetic reagents tested in multiple cell types allowing genome-wide investigation of connections between pharmacological perturbations and queries of up- and down-regulated gene sets from experimental conditions. The plates were sealed with adhesive film and incubated for 30 minutes at RT prior to storage at -80°C. Compound-induced gene_expression profiles were generated using the L1000 platform.
