Identification of the potato (solanum tuberosum l.) p-type atpase gene family and investigating the role of pha2 in response to pep13

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The authors conducted a whole-genome collinearity analysis of potatoes with Arabidopsis, rice, and tomatoes . This study provides an in-depth analysis of the functional clustering relationships among PM Frontiers in Plant Science To further investigate potato PM H+-ATPase family proteins, their spatial structures were predicted using an online software. The authors characterized the potato P-type ATPase gene and identified 48 members distributed across 12 different chromosomes . To study the potato P-type ATPase gene family, the authors focused on the PM H+-ATPase genes of the P3 subfamily (Supplementary Table S3).
