    As the largest source of carbon emissions, massive energy consumption and carbon emissions have resulted in a slew of issues, including major ecological and environmental imbalances. The Chinese authorities have announced critical targets for energy saving and emission reduction, with China`s President Xi Jinping emphasizing the dual carbon intention of peak carbon_dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality by 2030 and 2060, respectively.
